Thanksgiving: the search for thanks to give.

Thanksgiving.

Yeah...

Well, to start off, I do hope that all of you had at least good holidays, and hopefully so much more. I spent time with my family and though some moments were rushed, some a little stressful, and the rain and ice that hitting here in the midwest made it kind of crappy, I'm happy for it.

I've got a few updates I'm adding while I have some time this weekend, now that I'm not feeling so sick, and in hopes of keeping my spirits a bit more cheery. I have a new podcast up, you can listen to in the widget over in the right hand column, here on the main PodBean page, or just look up "the Artisan Rogue" on iTunes. I talked about finding ways to overcome negativity and to try and grow and nurture aspects of happiness for oneself, whenever possible.

One thing that does happen when I get to feeling low, is I need an outlet and something to get stress out and calmness in with (listen to the podcast for more on that...). Thank goodness I am driven to draw, so here were the fruits of my efforts from the last few days up till earlier today.

Assortment of wood panel sizes and a variety of subject matters.
I'll be adding these to my online site soon for anyone that's interested in a particular work. Also, there will be some new exclusive art that I'll be posting that can only be gotten/seen through my soon to be active Patreon account.

In other goings on, I am in full on tilt movie mode. I went to go see the Good Dinosaur today, and I don't care what anyone says, I loved it, it made me sad beyond sad, but it was cathartic and beautiful. When I get sad or depressed, dinosaurs are always a good way for me to start to cheer up. We are also only days from Star Wars Episode 7, and then the Jimmy Kimmel show dropped the new Captain America movie trailer.

I also had my first plush toy come out that had a bit of voice acting I did for it. It's available in Hallmark Gold Crown stores at the moment. You can read about it and see it here.

Until next time, be kind to your fellow beings, support your local artists, and I'll see you next time! - Mario, the Artisan Rogue

p.s. ALSO... where in the $%&@ did 2015 go?! I swear I remember it being February, and it being hot for like a month... I guess it's true, the older one gets the faster time goes by. But I also just want to believe I am developing super speed and will become a super hero this next year.
